I was enrolled in a credit CARD consolidation program that was shut down by the state of Florida. The state took my money that was sitting in an escrow account for settling my debts. The state did not return the funds they sized. Since them ny credit score has collapsed and I am forced to pay my debts twice. How do i go about filing a lawsuit against the state for taking my money?

I am going to be filing a lawsuit against some defendants that all work at the same place. The company knows that the lawsuit is coming but not in depth. To avoid an affirmative defense that any of the defendants weren’t properly served, I was going to file the lawsuit in state court first. Have all the defendants served by publication. Once I received the documentation that it indeed published, I was going to file a removal of the case from state to federal court. Is that a good idea to do this?

I just heard about Attorney General Cuomo of New York filing a lawsuit against Credit Solutions, the debt relief company. I live in NY and was a customer of Credit Solutions a few years ago. I paid them about 2K overall and they never helped me settle any debt. How do I get involved in the lawsuit?

My friend downloaded two movies on our school’s network and got in trouble with the school after the production company contacted the school and told them about the downloads. It has been a little less than a month since the downloads happened but my friend is still worried about possibly hearing from the production company again. How long would it take for the company to contact my friend about filing a lawsuit against him? Is it something that would be immediate or would it take a while before my friend would hear from them? Any information on the topic would be helpful.

do i need to change my name on my high school diploma?
will it lead to complications in a lawsuit? i was in a car accident and now filing a lawsuit against the driver.
